This corporation was founded in 1997 and is a non-state corporation with the registered capital of RMB 3 million yuan. The main products are almond health care essential oil, amygdalin, pure protein and polysaccharide. Restricted by the raw materials, the production scale is small.

4. Project Overview
4.1 Project Description
This project is located in the Industrial Zone of Zuoquan County. It is planned to build manufacturing factories and products processing factories with each production capacity of 500 tons of wild almond oils. These factories will be distributed in the Taihang Mountains area, Qingling Mountains and the Yanshan Mountains area, respectively, to form the annual production capacity of 1,500 tons of almond health care oils, 123 tons of amygdalin, 1,596 tons of pure proteins and 477 tons of polysaccharides.

4.2 Investment Budget
The total investment is 29.62 million USD, among which 10 million USD will be self-financed and the other 19.62 million USD will be an attracted capital.

4.3 Construction Scale and Content
It is a new project. The 3 main production areas of wild almond in our country will be all included in this project. The first stage of this project is in the Taihang Mountains area and the site will be located in Zuoquan County, Shanxi Province. The second stage of this project will be in the Yanshan Mountains area, which will be accomplished during December 2005 to December 2006 and the site will be located in some state level poverty-stricken county of Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. The third stage of this project will be in the Qingling Mountains area that will be accomplished during January 2007 to January 2008 and the site will be located in Longxi County, Longnan City, Gansu Province.

4.4 Supporting Conditions
Water supply, power supply, roads and communication facilities are smooth.

4.5 Market Forecasting and Economic Benefit Analysis
After the completion of this project, it is estimated to achieve the annual sales income of 150 million USD with the annual profit of 40 million USD.

5. Progress of the Preliminary Review of the Applied Project
This project is consistent with the industrial policies in both the state level and the provincial level. At present, it has been approved by the relevant authorities in charge of land resources, urban construction and environment protection through preliminary reviewing. Currently, it is under application for project approval.
